AstralPool Viron Connect 10 Automation System

Note: Requires installation by a licenced electrician. Required to be hard-wired to a circuit rated to a minimum of 32 amps, ideally 40 amps. Maximum load is 40 amps.

Accessories

• Touchscreen wireless receiver and Equipment-side transceiver together allows the touchscreen to be relocated inside the house without needing a cable to be run. The equipment-side transceiver is installed near the pool equipment and a RF signal is used to communicate with the touchscreen wireless receiver. This can be mounted somewhere near where the touchscreen is to be mounted in a position that will receive sufficient signal.
• Waterproof hand-held remote. Requires Hand-held remote RF receiver.
• Internet Gateway is required to control the Connect 10 by the internet or by the mobile apps.
• Connect 10 temperature and solar sensor kit allows the Connect 10 to measure the pool temperature and supports solar heating and third-party pool heaters.

Solar Heating

When solar pool heating is installed, you can use the Connect 10 instead of a solar controller. You can add a Connect 10 Solar modulator lead to be installed on the roof as roof (or hot) temperature sensors. Requires Connect 10 Temperature and solar sensor kit.

Gas Heaters

AstralPool Viron eVo, HiNRG, ICI, HX and JX gas heaters are supported out of the box. AstralPool IXI and Zodiac / Jandy JXI gas heaters require a IXI / JXI Interface.

Heat Pumps

AstralPool heat pumps can be controlled using the AstralPool Heat Pump Interface. This allows direct communication between the Connect 10 and the heat pump.

Connect 10 temperature and solar sensor kit allows the Connect 10 to measure the pool temperature and control third-party pool heat pumps or AstralPool heat pumps without using the heat pump interface. This can only be acheived if the unit can plug into the Connect 10, or if there is a dedicated pump for the heat pump that can be controlled by the Connect 10.
