The AstralPool Halo Hub is an add-on to the AstralPool Halo Salt Chlorinator adding automation control to other devices. Connection to an AstralPool Halo Salt Chlorinator is required to use this device.

Capabilties:

  • Timed control 2 devices via 2 general power outlets (GPO's) (max 9.5A combined load).
  • Timed control of up to 4 x valve actuators.
  • Heat pump or gas heater control using the filtration pump, or an additional dedicated pump (configuration depends on heater brand).
  • Solar heating control.
  • Water temperature sensor input.

Connection with home automation systems

Connection to a home automation system is possible. The Halo Hub can receive a signal via 2x switchable inputs. This is typically setup for one to start a programmed "favourite" or macro and the second to return to default state. The Halo Hub can also communicate back to a home automation system via a timed relay output.
